Some “Doubting Thomases” have asserted that this photograph is not authentic. However, I, Bison Bill, being an intimate friend of the lovely Mrs. Earp, am able to state with absolute certainty that this is indeed her authentic likeness.

Incidentally, in the 1993 film “Tombstone,” there is a moment (during the Battle of the OK Corral) when Josephine Earp (as portrayed by Dana Delaney) is depicted posing for this photograph.
